In the past few years the number of problems arising from an excessive wear of ropes of lift systems has grown. Suspension ropes sometimes have to be replaced after a few years or even months. The rope wear has numerous causes.
Some of them will be examined in more detail and possible measures to reduce the wear and tear and delay the replacement state of wear will be presented.
