A separate equalizing reservoir enables the use for all runway inclin-ations from horizontal to vertical with upward pointing piston rod and facilitates the oil level check. The big oil supply permits the operational start-up of the buffer and reduces the maintenance expenditure. The design is based on the approved Henning elevator buffers of the production series LP having the design type approval according to EN 81-1/2.
